Weight Plates

Every plate in this range is produced on a 50 mm Olympic bore in metric and imperial. Tri-grip plates for racks and general strength floors, bumper plates for platforms and functional training, competition bumpers for weightlifting clubs, chrome steel for premium and hotel installations. FAQ

Weight Plates: questions buyers ask

Why choose urethane over rubber for grip plates?

Longer service life, no odour, no floor marking and a sharper moulded finish for logo work. It is the right choice where the plate itself is part of the brand presentation.

Are TPU plates suitable for commercial gyms?

Yes. TPU is specified for mid-market commercial and premium home use. For the highest-traffic chains, CPU remains the top specification.

What insert do you use?

A machined steel insert, chromed or stainless, is bonded into the bore so the plate does not wear loose on the sleeve.

Why are urethane bumpers thinner?

Polyurethane is denser than rubber, so the same mass needs less volume. Thinner plates load more weight per bar.

Black or colour bumpers?

Black is the volume seller and hides floor scuffs. Colour-coded plates are chosen where a facility wants fast visual loading, or where the brand uses colour.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Standard MOQ is 500 kg per SKU; private-label with a moulded logo starts at 1,000 kg per SKU, as does a custom Pantone colour. Mixed containers across dumbbells, plates, kettlebells, bars and sewn goods are accepted, and a first order is normally one 20ft container.

Do you publish test certificates?

We publish specifications we can stand behind and we do not publish third-party certification we do not hold. Every batch is weight-checked against calibrated scales and inspected in house for coating, dimension and finish. Where a market or a tender requires independent test data, appoint your own testing or inspection agency — we will supply samples and arrange access to production. We would rather you verify than take our word for it.
